On this tour you will learn about the lifestyle, their main customs and their way of earning an economic livelihood of the natives of the town of Baru. We will start the tour picking you up at the hotel to take you to the village of Baru, you will be received at Villa Bonga, one of the emblematic houses of the village. There you will receive your bottle of water to start the walking tour of the town. We will visit the tourist port, the church, the Plaza de la Cruz, colonial houses and you can appreciate artistic works in the Casa de la Cultura, at the end you will know different handicrafts and souvenirs made by the population. In the evening we will have dinner in our house Villa Bonga, a delicious typical dish with fresh fish. Later we will go by boat with our local Eco-guide to make a plankton tour in the Pelao Swamp. The activity will begin at 7:00 pm with a technical talk, then passengers can enter the water to enjoy the observation of the luminescent effect of plankton in the water, because when you swim or move your hands in the water the plankton will illuminate, it will be a nice experience in which you will learn the importance of this microorganism in the water. It should be noted that there are many factors that intervene in the quality of luminescence such as the moon, marine currents, lighting, among others. After finishing we will go to Villa Bonga to change at 8:30 pm and we will leave Baru to take you back to the hotel.
